MISSION

Design, build, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions across the full stack, leveraging modern frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and the Cloudflare ecosystem to enhance performance, security, and availability. Ensure technical excellence through strong engineering practices, continuous optimization, robust architectures, and reliable CI/CD processes, contributing to resilient systems and ongoing improvement across development and operations.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Build and maintain web applications using React.js and Next.js (SSR/SSG/ISR where appropriate). 

• Design and develop APIs and services using Node.js (e.g., Express/NestJS) with strong engineering practices. 

• Architect and implement AWS solutions for compute, networking, storage, observability, and deployment. 

• Improve performance across the stack (frontend performance, caching strategy, API latency, database performance). 

• Implement secure authentication/authorization flows and protect APIs (rate limiting and security controls as applicable). 

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, progressive delivery when needed). 

• Write and maintain technical documentation (architecture notes, runbooks, ADRs). 

• Participate in code reviews, incident analysis, and reliability improvements.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with significant fullstack ownership. 

• Strong production experience with React.js and Next.js.

• Strong back-end experience with Node.js (Express and/or NestJS).

• Strong database experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and/or MongoDB (schema design, indexing, query optimization).

• Cloudflare Workers experience (edge compute use cases such as routing, caching logic, request/response transformation, auth middleware at the edge, and lightweight integrations). (Nice to have)

• Proven ability to operate production systems: debugging, incident support, and continuous improvement. 

• Strong, hands-on AWS experience, including most of the following: 

  • IAM and security best practices (least privilege, KMS/encryption concepts) 

  • Networking fundamentals (VPC concepts, security groups, load balancing) 

  • Compute patterns (EC2 and/or ECS/EKS and/or Lambda) 

  • Storage and data services (S3, RDS/DynamoDB where applicable) 

  • Observability (CloudWatch logs/metrics/alarms, tracing patterns)
