Mission

The role will lead talent strategy across recruitment planning, career development, performance processes, and learning programs in SAMY Global.

This role works closely with the Global HR team and reports directly to People Transformation Director. It acts as a strategic HR Business Partner to leadership, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workforce Planning & Recruitment Alignment

  • Partner closely with the Global Staffer and hiring managers to detect talent needs proactively.

  • Identify workforce gaps (internal and external hiring needs).

  • Support recruitment strategy and ensure alignment with business growth plans.

  • Stay involved in the hiring process until the role is filled (onboarding will not be owned directly but may be supported strategically).

2. Talent Development & Career Growth

  • Own and oversee career development frameworks across the organization.

  • Design and implement career path models and progression plans.

  • Ensure continuous development for employees throughout their lifecycle (especially mid-level roles).

  • Actively monitor individual growth, performance evolution, and internal mobility opportunities.

  • Develop structured coaching and career plans.

3. Learning & Training Programs

  • Design and coordinate internal and external training programs.

  • Build a structured annual training plan aligned with business strategy.

  • Identify development priorities and partner with external providers when needed.

  • Measure training effectiveness and ROI.

4. Performance Management & Internal Processes

  • Lead and coordinate performance review cycles.

  • Ensure performance evaluation frameworks are consistent, fair, and development-oriented.

  • Support managers in feedback, evaluation, and talent conversations.

  • Implement improvement plans and talent development initiatives.

5. Strategic HR Business Partnering

  • Act as HRBP for leadership teams in Spain, aligned with global HR strategy.

  • Collaborate with the Global HRBP team on coaching plans and leadership development.

  • Identify succession plans and high-potential talent.

  • Contribute to global talent initiatives while adapting them locally.

Job requirements

Skills Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Development, HRBP, or similar strategic HR roles.

  • Strong experience in performance management and career path design.

  • Experience managing L&D budgets.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams.

  • Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

  • Based in Madrid.
