Role Mission
The Sr. Social Intelligence & Strategy role will support the growth of SAMY’s U.S. business by leading strategic planning, insights, and social intelligence initiatives across key clients. Based in Miami, this role bridges data, creativity, and culture — helping brands translate social and audience insights into actionable strategies that drive engagement, advocacy, and measurable business results.
The ideal candidate brings strong social media expertise, strategic curiosity, and a passion for digital culture and creator ecosystems.
Summary of Role:
Act as a strategic thought leader in key environments - new business development, priority client projects, and potential thought leadership activities
Keep a pulse on internet culture, relevant industry news, cultural spaces, trends, and thought leaders
Understand the category, culture, and audiences for clients (especially within technology, fashion and beauty)
Build POVs from insights and identifying patterns or movements in culture
Be aware of new resources and tools to optimize our processes or products
Strengthen strategy and culture product offerings with Head of Strategy
Partner with the Research & Insights, Creative, Account, and Media teams effectively to deliver high-quality work through intentional collaboration (including at the global level)
Support the development and guidance of more junior counterparts
What you will own and elevate in this role:
Assessment & Diagnosis: the ability to extract a client’s needs or path forward based on client-facing conversations, internal discussions, briefs, and supplemental information
Insights Development and Storytelling: how to transform data points and observations into actionable and relevant insights that drive business impact
Tools: the exposure and use of both proprietary and external tools that support the process
A to Z: understanding of seeing projects from conception to delivery (project scoping, execution and client presentations)
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Insight Development
Lead the development of data-driven social and content strategies for cross categories (finance, pharma, etc)
Translate audience insights, trends, and cultural moments into actionable recommendations.
Partner with Account, Creator, and Media teams to craft integrated go-to-market plans.
Support new business pitches with insights, frameworks, and creative strategy storytelling.
Social Intelligence & Trend Analysis
Monitor platform innovation and emerging behaviors across TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and others.
Use social listening tools and analytics to identify opportunities and optimize ongoing campaigns.
Deliver regular category and competitor intelligence reports to clients and internal teams.
Operational & Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with data, creative, and content production teams to align on insights and creative execution.
Contribute to strategic thought leadership pieces and client presentations.
Ensure strategy excellence across multiple projects and deadlines.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, content ecosystems, and audience dynamics.
Skilled at interpreting data and transforming insights into creative strategies.
Experience with social listening, analytics, and performance measurement tools will be a plus.

Ideal Background
7+ years of experience in social strategy, intelligence, or digital marketing roles.
Agency experience is strongly preferred.
Proven success developing insights and strategy in social-first campaigns.
Experience in Beauty, Fashion, or Lifestyle categories is a strong plus.
Miami-based, open to hybrid presence or ideally located in the Eastern Standard time zone
