Job requirements

We are looking for a Junior Research & Insights Analyst to join the Kurio Strategy Team in Helsinki. Although based in Helsinki, the analyst will be part of a global Research & Insights team and collaborate closely with colleagues across markets.

The analyst will add value to clients through data consultancy, market insights, measurement frameworks, and technological support. On a day-to-day basis, the role involves leveraging data-driven insights to inform client strategies and optimize marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regular reporting on market and media data and insights relevant to a range of clients as well as the agency itself.

  • Monitoring and analyzing social media conversations using relevant social listening tools.

  • Conducting secondary research to develop a broader and deeper understanding of market context and client impact.

  • Synthesizing and presenting insights and findings for internal teams and client audiences.

  • Supporting the development of applications, automation, and bots to further enhance value for clients and the agency.

  • Providing technological and analytical support for clients, as required.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong ability to derive meaningful insights from data, visualize findings, and prepare clear, structured reports.

  • Good understanding of, or strong interest in, social listening and insights tools.

  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to continuously learn and master new insights tools and technologies.

  • Strong collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within cross-functional and international teams.

  • Genuine interest in research, data, and human behavior.

  • High attention to detail in data analysis and report preparation.

  • Knowledge of R (or R packages) is considered a bonus.

  • Fluency in both English and Finnish is compulsory.

Good to Have

  • Proficiency in additional Nordic languages, particularly Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian, alongside English.

  • Familiarity with or interest in the beauty category.
