Role Mission

In this role, you will report to the Senior Finance Specialist and support the management of Accounts Payable processes for SAMY Mexico and the US, ensuring accurate invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and compliance with Mexican tax requirements. You will also contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Process, review, and record supplier invoices from Mexico and the US.

• Manage payment layouts, bank reconciliations, and payment processes.

• Review Mexican tax requirements, including withholdings for individuals.

• Manage communication and follow-up with suppliers, particularly influencers.

• Handle financial information in USD and MXN, identifying discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.

• Support the automation and improvement of Accounts Payable processes, understanding the accounting logic behind transactions.

Skills & experience

• Degree or studies in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

• Experience in Accounts Payable, including invoices, payments, reconciliations, and supplier management.

• Knowledge of Mexican tax requirements, particularly withholdings for individuals.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, autonomy, responsibility, and a proactive attitude.

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with NetSuite and banking platforms is a plus.

• English proficiency to communicate with the Miami-based company, at least in writing; spoken English is a plus.
